Tennessee Songwriters Week is a state statute designating the last full week of February each year as Tennessee Songwriters Week.
The mission and goal are to create special events, support music venues, generate awareness of songwriters’ contributions to Tennessee, pave the way for future artists to write their music future and inspires traveler to experience the state’s music stories, history, attractions, and venues.

We are so excited to host a qualifying round for the TN Songwriters Week at the Ready Room on Saturday, February 1, 2025. This is your chance to compete for a spot in the final rounds and make your mark on Tennessee's legendary music scene.
Bring your best original music and compete to advance to the Semi-Finals at Lafayette's Music Room in Memphis on February 25th, with a chance to perform at the world-famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, in March. Songwriters will be judged by local peers in the music industry.
Sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to complete the registration form below. The deadline to register for our location will be January 18th, 2025 at 3:00pm. You will be notified of your performance time slot no later than January 21, 2025.
